-Former participant of math competitions such as MTAP and MTG Previous Tutorial Experiences: -Part-time tutor for 8 months at a tutorial center for Junior High School students in Mandaue City -Part-time online ESL tutor to Japanese students -Did home-based tutorials for Physics, Chemistry, and Pre-Calculus -Did school-based tutorials for Engineering Mathematics -Did casual tutorials for Algebra off-campus These experiences gave me more confidence to impart my learnings as well as more familiarization of the new curriculum for basic education. I can attest that I'll be able to teach the topics well in a pace they can cope up. Although I already have a day job, sharing my expertise on something to someone is a fulfilling activity for me. I did a story-telling activity to less privileged kids via a mobile school. In 2016, I volunteered part of the Food Committee in the International Eucharistic Congress (IEC). In relation to my degree program, I was able to extend my learnings in Industrial Chemistry to the community through a Technology Transfer Activity for Liquid Dishwashing Soap Making in Brgys. Kamputhaw and Tisa. I also did voluntary work by participating twice in a relief good packing operation for victims of Typhoon Yolanda last 2013.
